Why We started
We started 1906 because we believe cannabis is the greatest medicine on earth. Our goal is to make cannabis a trusted, normal part of daily wellness with products that are easy to understand and easy to fit into your life and offer the most healthful format of cannabis available.
1906 is named for the last time cannabis was widely accepted as a beneficial medicine. The Wiley Act was enacted the following year, beginning nearly a century of misguided cannabis prohibition with devastating consequences. We say it’s high time to make cannabis accessible and understandable for all—for the greater good (and the greater fun).

Highly Functional
Fast Acting
We use a patented technology that gives our products the fastest onset anywhere: 20 minutes or less.
Low Dose
We believe that using both THC and CBD gives you the best experience. We use a 1:1 ratio of CBD to THC for most products and a 5:1 ratio for our Chill formula.
Targeted effects
We offer precision highs that make you feel exactly how you want to feel.
Medicinal plants
Six different thoughtful formulations of super-powerful plant medicines plus moderately dosed cannabis.
Medicinal plants have been a crucial part of wellness for thousands of years. No other company combines super-effective plant medicines and adaptogens with THC and CBD in a user-friendly, accessible form. This is how we fulfill our promise of Functional Cannabis.
Our commitment to social justice
To operate a cannabis business is a privilege. We are keenly aware of the dichotomy between those who are permitted to run legal business and those who are penalized and incarcerated for possessing or distributing cannabis. We want to right these injustices and help make cannabis accessible to all—those who wish to work within the industry and those who wish to consume cannabis without hassle, stigma or repercussion.
Voter Mobilization Project
When cannabis users are also cannabis voters, lawmakers take their concerns more seriously. In the fall of 2020, with so much at stake, we created a social campaign to showcase the many faces of engaged citizens and get out the vote. Cannabis proved to be the only thing all parties could agree on and was the big winner on Nov. 2. Just saying.
Cannabis Trade Federation Task Force for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
We are proud to be part of this initiative, which fast-tracks action, accountability and transparency. In fall 2020, the group launched a member assessment tool and clear framework for improvement across the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion in the cannabis industry.
Friends in Weed Coalition
In response to the economic crisis brought on by the pandemic in spring 2020, we joined with leading cannabis companies in Colorado to provide ongoing support to the cannabis and hospitality industries. We helped purchase $77K+ in restaurant gift cards as budtender tips—supporting both hardworking essential workers and homegrown restaurants during Covid. On 4/20, we raised additional funds for the Governor’s Colorado Covid Relief Fund, providing aid to first responders and other crucial community workers.
SHARING PROFITS WITH IMPORTANT CAUSES
to help fund national and regional organizations committed to reversing the injustices of the failed War on People.
Educating and motivating our audience
to take action on social, at the ballot box and in their communities.
Using our knowledge and influence
to accelerate informed, equitable and effective cannabis policy in states where we operate and wish to operate in, and to push for national decriminalization and legalization at the federal level.
Cannabis Voter Project
The CVP aims to inform voters about candidates’ positions related to cannabis legislation and stresses the importance of voting in every election (local, state, national), because the margins of victory can be incredibly narrow and every vote matters.
The Center on Colfax
The largest LGBTQ community center in the Rockies gives voice to Colorado’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community, and plays a pivotal role in statewide initiatives to reduce harassment and discrimination.
Floret Coalition
This anti-racist collective of small businesses in the cannabis and cannabis-adjacent space supports and funds equity-oriented actions via monthly donations and social campaigns. They are committed to raising funds and awareness for organizations prioritizing the needs of Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities.
Cannabis Trade Federation
By serving on the Board of the CTF, we help further their mission to professionalize, diversify and unify the cannabis industry.
OUT FRONT Foundation
OFM is one of the nation’s oldest continuously running, independently owned and operated LGBTQ publications. Proudly serving the Denver, Colorado area.
